Entry to the event is free of charge.  Visitors are asked to stay away from the edge of the river and remain on marked trails and designated viewing areas.

How to get there

By Car: Take highway A3 from Bern or Luzern to the exit for Wilderswil. There is no parking for spectators at the event location, please park your car at the Wilderswil or Zweilütschinen train stations and complete the journey by train.

By Train: Take the train from Interlaken Ost,Wilderswil or Zweilütschinen towards Lauterbrunnen.  The stop for the kayak race is “Sandweidli”. Tipp:  If you have time take the train all the way to Lauterbrunnen and enjoy a 30 min scenic hike along the river back down to the race location.
